The eTORQUE Hybrid System from Torque Marine is an advanced, modular drive solution with energy supply system that is specifically designed for retrofitting existing vessels with drive power of up to 1000kW per shaft train. This innovative system offers a sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional diesel drives and can be flexibly adapted to various energy sources, including shore power/battery, MDO, CNG and fuel cell (hydrogen, ammonia).

Booking the Engineering Package

Comprehensive measurement drives are carried out to evaluate the ship’s current condition (baseline) and collect data for a tailor-made solution. (Included in the Engineering Package)
Technical Planning and Adjustments
Based on the measurement data, adjustments to the propulsion system are planned to maximize efficiency and environmental performance. (Included in the Engineering Package)
Retrofit and Installation
The installation of the new system is carried out, including:
Hull and propeller adjustments
Appropriate torque motor/drive
If necessary, establishment of infrastructure for alternative energy sources.
Commissioning and Fine-Tuning
